Find a more balanced approach to mental wellness
My Approach
Therapy with me is tailored to your individual needs, age, and cultural background. I am inherently person-centered, which means I strive to see individuals holistically. Each of us has experiences that shape how we navigate the world. My goal is to work together with you, using a variety of therapeutic techniques including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Expressive Arts, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Somatic Work, and Eco Therapy.

What your therapy journey might look like…
This is essentially a vibe check. If you need support in something that is not my area of expertise, I’ll do my best to give you a referral list.
Free 15-min Consultation
This is a more in-depth vibe check. We will review paperwork and have the chance to ask each other questions. Again, if I believe someone else is better suited, we can chat about that too.
Intake Session
This will generally be your first “homework assignment.” In order for this to be therapeutic, we need to have something to work towards. Think SMART goals, I can help you too!
Setting Goals
My general request is that, starting out, we meet weekly. This is to assist in establishing good rapport between us. If a trusting relationship isn’t there, therapy isn’t going to work. Once we are both comfortable with each other, we can explore every other week appointments, but keep in mind these appointment spots are more limited.
Counseling Sessions
We will aim to revisit progress and goal every three months. At this point, we can make adjustments based on desired goals and needs. Sometimes, we will be ready to scale back the frequency of appointments in preparation for termination of services.
Revisit Goals and Needs
Once we are at this stage, we will part ways. Sometimes it is forever, and sometimes life brings you back to therapy. It’s okay and entirely normal.
